The safety and well-being of children and families who come to enjoy the facilities at our Play2Day play centre at Martlesham Heath, Ipswich, is and always has been our main priority.
Since the accident that occurred whilst contractors were carrying out planned maintenance to the roof in June, we have been working closely with the Local Authority to ensure that remediation works are carried out in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
This has proven more complicated than expected, so we decided it was best to temporarily close the centre in order to facilitate the necessary work.
Unfortunately, this has meant the cancellation at short notice of a number of bookings, including for children’s parties. We fully realise just how disappointing this is for those affected and offer our sincere apologies.
We are working hard with specialist consultants and in full cooperation with the relevant authorities and look forward to welcoming our guests to enjoy our facilities once again very soon.
If you have a booking with us, which may be affected by the temporary closure, we will be making contact with you this week.

Great fun for all the kids. Reasonably priced and safe environment. Feel reassured that the staff check people in and out and the kids can't escape. Have a good range of food and drink on offer too for adults.
