We’ll start with the obvious question, what’s Lazer-Tag all about?

Lazer-Tag is adrenalin filled fun for ALL the family. It’s a high-tech fast action lazer game adventure played in a two level arena. Plus it has with amazing ultra violet artwork and pulse pumping sounds!

Does it hurt?

No! You can’t feel it. Our Lazer-Tag Phasers emit a harmless beam of infra red light.

What equipment will I use?

The Begeara Black Paw Phaser is lightweight, compact and requires two-handed operation for extra safety.

It’s a Phaser only system, meaning no vest is required and is therefore easy for small children too.

It’s bright LED lights clearly indicate your team colour or solo play and the phaser screen shows your rank and score throughout the game.

The Phasers also respond to your game play action with vibration and MP3.

How safe is the phaser?

Each Phaser has a two handed safety interlock to prevent players from waving the blaster around. Its lightweight design and a rubber nose cone make a large improvement on safety.

How long does it last?

You’ll need to allow around 5 minutes for the briefing and 10 minutes for your game. You’ll then need to add on a few minutes between game to see your score.

Can we choose what type of game we play?

Yes, when you have reached a consensus we can easily select different games for you. Although children are far more likely to want to play team games than solo games.

What clothes should I wear?

Something comfortable that allows you to move freely. Maybe a sweatshirt or similar would be good in winter. Trainers are fine or boots with ankle support and this may sound obvious but high heels and flip flops are unsuitable. And don’t wear anything such as buckles that could get caught in the netting.

What is the minimum age?

For guidance purposes we say six, but down to the development of your child. If you’re unsure if your child is ready to play, just ask us to show you around the Arena and your child will soon tell you!

Can I walk around with my children while they are playing?

Yes, but if your young child needs close supervision it’s not advisable.

Can I watch my children play?

There is no spectator facility but you are welcome to stand at the Arena entrance.

Is food and drink available?

Yes, our Lazer-Tag Arena and Indoor Children’s Play Centre share facilities including a comprehensive menu. (Plus arcade machines and toilets)

Will there just be my group playing in the Arena?

Unless you’ve booked a Private Hire session or a Party there may be others playing at the same time.

But don’t let this put you off, because more players means more targets and more fun!

Do I have to book?

If you’re not having a Party or Private Hire you can just turn up and play. However, if you’ve a big group or want to ensure you play at a certain time then it’s best to give us a call.

Yes we do and lots of them because everyone loves a deal! Please take a look on the Lazer-Tag Prices page and our Facebook page too.

I’ve never played Lazer-Tag before, can you tell me how to play?

Of course! Before you play your first game a member of staff will show you how to play and how to play safely.

In addition, a member of staff will be present to give you further information, answer your questions and deal with any problems if they arise during your game.

What’s the minimum and maximum number of players?

From 2 to 18 players can play at any one time. If your group is larger than 18 you can still play because we’ll simply divide you into two groups. And remember, more players means more fun!

Can adults and children play together?

Yes and they’ll have a great time because there’s no physical contact and Lazer-Tag is a family game!

How can I find out my score?

Upon the conclusion of your game the computer will quickly calculate the scores and you will see them on a screen.

What about if it rains?

The Lazer-Tag Arena is indoors so you don’t have to worry about rain, wind or mud!

Is the Lazer-Tag Arena suitable for disabled people?

Yes, although they may have difficulty reaching the upper levels.

If I make a booking, do I have to pay at the same time?

Only if you’ve booked a Private Hire or a Party.

How many games can I play in a one hour Private Hire?

Depends how long you take to check your scores between games but usually five. Of course, it also depends upon your stamina!

Is there loud music?

I wouldn’t call it music, more like pulse-pumping sounds!
